Guide to online shopping on Instagram

Guide to online shopping on Instagram
Guide to online shopping on Instagram
Welcome to my Guide to online shopping on Instagram!
Online shopping is super fun and here in the Philippines,  Online sellers found a different way in showcasing their items and sell it to people!
Aside from the usual websites like www.olx.ph, ww.ayosdito.ph, Ebay, amazon...etc.. Sellers here in the Philippines use Instagram! ;)

Surprisingly,  it is as convenient as ordering on Ebay.
All you have to do is "follow" the Instagram account, find what you like, send them a message, do your payments and wait for your package :)
Moving on to the guide...
Following an "Instagram shop"
Usually, the account of the shops are set to private. You have to wait for your request to follow them to get approved.
Why is it private?
1. They are protecting their products. There are a-holes out there who create fake accounts and tend to steal photos from legit online sellers.
2. So they can track the people who are following their account. It may be bogus buyers or someone really famous. If a famous person followed them,  it would be a trophy since it will help them advertise their shop.
Usually it will just takes a few minutes for them to approve your request to follow thier account.

How to find legit online instagram shop/sellers
Surprisingly,  there are more bogus buyers than bogus sellers on Instagram. So finding legit shops won't be that hard.
1. Most of the time, famous people are being sponsored by Instagram shops. They give them free stuff. In return, those famous people will give that shop a shoutout. Keep an eye on those shops in their shoutouts, they are legit.
2. There is a thing called "SFS", it means shoutout for shoutout. They do this to get more followers.  Basically,  shop #1 would give shop #2 a shoutout and in return,  shop #2 will give a shoutout to shop #1. Another way to find a legit seller.
3. Look for feedbacks. Usually, legit online shops post feedbacks from their customers.
4. The larger the shops' followers are, the better. No offense to the shops who are just starting out, but your followers count is like a badge for your shop's profile

Ordering
Shops require you to send an order form. They will give you the format and once you've sent it, they will reply the amount you will be paying. Once you have sent them your proof of payment, just wait for your order be delivered :)
Note: TRY TO NOT CANCEL YOUR ORDER and PAY ON TIME, shops hate it when you go wishy-washy with your decision. Or else,  your face/account will be uploaded and tagged as a 'bogus buyer'

Item arrival
Once you have received your item(s), check if it is complete. If it's damaged due to the handling of the courier,  the shop is not responsible for it.
After you have celebrated that your items are now here, take a picture of it and tag the shop. This is optional but this will help the shop earn their credibility and use it as a feedback from their customers. Also they appreciate the love people give when they say how nice, the easy transactions, effortless their experience in online shopping is.

Here are some online shops I have tried and tested and are really credible and I really recommend :)
