How are you? I hope you're doing well. I haven't heard anything from you in a long time. I stopped stalking your Facebook account for (days/months/years) now haha so I don't really know what's up.
Anyway, I'm writing this letter because I think there are things that are left unsaid. I know we are in (sort of) good terms but in the past (days/months/years), I've realized so many things.
Things that weren't clear when we were trying to work things out or when our relationship is going down the drain.
I've realized that we tried to make something out of what we feel for each other. We tried to give each other LOVE.
We thought love is something that we could easily give and understand. We thought being together was something that was meant for us.
Back when we were together it was, I admit, fun and I was happy. But the things we argue about was irreconcilable. We couldn't give to each other what would make us happy.
I think that's a big part of loving someone. Loving is giving. Like how much can you give or sacrifice for the person you love to be happy.. and I think we realized that at the end of our relationship. We gave each other freedom.
I want to thank you for that. Now we can go on with our lives and find the right person for us. We broke our promises for each other but I think those promises weren't meant for you and me.
I wish you the very best of luck in finding the "one".

Okay! Haha like I said this letter isn't personal. I just thought if people would really write or tell this to their ex.
I wanted to see how a person that has moved on would talk to their ex and be open about what happened to them and just accept the fact that they are just not meant to be together.
Would you write something like this to your ex? Or have you done something like this? What did they say? Share! :p
Or maybe just never talk to them again since their time in your life is over?
