Okay. If you're from the Philippines, I'm sure you are very much aware of the craze over J.Co's donuts. Like people would stand in line for minutes or even hours! Just to bring home a box of goodie donuts.
They have a wide variety of flavors and what really caught my attention is the "Berry Spears" (the name of their donuts are pretty funny :p)

Unfortunately, I didn't get to have some of the Berry Spears.. my brother ate it :(
So.. I painted it on my nails instead. (Random ; p)
Here are the stuff I used :
- 1 toothpick
- BYS base coat
- China Glaze Make Some Noise
- BYS nail art lacquer in white

Here's the fun part! The candy spun technique :p
[caption id="attachment_79" align="alignleft" width="300"]
On a steel or plastic plate, pour your nail polish of choice to make a small puddle :)
Stir the puddle with your toothpick and wait for the consistency of the nail polish to get a little thick.
How to know when it's ready:
When you dip your toothpick and pull it away, it holds a thin line of paint that connect it to the paint puddle. The paint doesn't drop back to the puddle.
Now transfer the strings of paint to your nail! Just bring you nail close to the puddle.. dip your toothpick and lead the string towards your nail and let it stick on it :) tada!!!!

Here's another candy spun/string nail art I did months ago ;)

Remeber to have fun and don't hesitate to experiment!
