Hey dolls ;) summer is here! Why not go for a bright colored hair this season?
Here's a review and my story with the Palty hard bleach kit in Gold brown.
If you're like me, who does a thorough research first about a product before trying it, read on and hopefully this post helps you alot ;) Let's get sturrrted!
The product
Basically, it is a bleaching kit where the longer it stays on your hair.. the lighter you hair will get.
Price is Php 389.75
At the back of the box, it tells you how your hair will turn out after 15 to 30 minutes, depending on your current hair color.
(According to the instruction manual)
The kit contains the following:
● Solution 1 (the small yellow tube, I guess this is the color dye)
● Solution 2 (the plastic bottle, with a water like solution where you mix all the contents)
● Bleach powder (silver packet)
●Brush type nozzle
●Hair conditioner (light brown sachet)
●instruction sheet
●Plastic gloves
Note: I wont go into details how you mix the dye and stuff but basically you pour the contents of the packets into the bottle and shake it well. THE INSTRUCTION SHEET WILL BE VERY INFORMATIVE SO READ IT WELL BEFORE USING... So don't worry!
Where I bought it
I went on to an adventure and search SM Bacoor for Palty hair dyes..
In Watsons store: I only found the bubble foam hair dye for Palty I was aiming for the normal hair dye since based on the blogs I've read and watched, it's not that very effective... and it costs around Php500 and I plan to buy 2 since I have long and thick hair.. so it's kinda expensive...
In Watsons in the department store: Same bubble foam Palty were found
Surprisingly...hypermarket!: I found all types of Palty hair kits!!! Bubble foam, the normal hair color, and the bleach kit! It was a great feeling since there's so much to choose from and also the available colors.
Application
Time is very important in bleaching your hair. Remember to prepare all the things you need before starting the procedure. And again..READ the manual! 90% of the kit is in Japanese, but there are parts translated in English :)
Rinsing
My hair did not feel dry when I was rinsing.. the manual said to shampoo your hair twice and use the provided hair conditioner. I used a sulfate free shampoo so it wouldn't dry my hair.
I was disappointed with the hair conditioner because there aren't much and it didnt cover all of my hair (I used 2 packets) so I used a small amount of some hair treatment I already have.
The results
My long gone red ends turned orange...LOL ;p
And it did lighten my black roots
Tips:
●Do your own research first
●Read the manual thoroughly
●Prepare the things you need before starting
●if you feel the bleach is too harsh to your ends, what I did is I apply water using my hands (with gloves) to sort of dilute the chemicals
The hair at the back of my head and near my nape went to a littlw dark brown.. it's not as light as my bangs but those hair were black in the beginning and the kit did say it'll go to a dark brown.
Overall verdict?
4 out of 5 stars!
Dyeing my hair on my own for the first time is scary. But this product really did its job :)
Have you used this product before? Or any of the Palty hair line? Comments, suggestions?
